Ok, the weather was really nice today, low 90's with low humidity so I was able to get some work done, too bad I got a late start. With the help of Danny and his new welder (I don't have 'mine' fixed yet) I was able to get the tubes tacked in place. That took most of the afternoon grinding to clean metal, fitting, clamping, welding...I was able to get a hood on it. I did have a 3 tab/post but it got swapped for a later one, one that is not are hard to find. I got the back seat in place and did some test fist for a few more braces. The tubes helped alot, but I want a bit more support. The W lid will be on the way to me later this month, same for the carbs. The tranny has not been clearanced yet so the engine sits under a cover for now.
Next Sunday I will be filling the gaps and gettting the cut and such filled. I will prob try to get some measurements made for the custom dash too.
Check out the first pic, nose bleed at that height!.
