Ok, today was the big day. Off came the roof and the rear apron. After some time of studying the lines and some changes the cuts were made. The Lenox blades were unreal, the cuts were fast and clean.
After the roof was gone I pulled on the crushed rear apron. At some time the side had been pushed in. With a jack type body shop tool I was able to get it back to shape. Then off came the apron. The apron was badly damaged right where I wanted to cut, worked out great.
I then moved on to the windshield frame. I did some measuring from a stock '65 and then from a pre 64 'vert. After some test sitting and such I made the cuts. I am using a junk vert frame so I had to do some narrowing. After some time on that I decided to call it a day. I ended the day with a felling of doing some major work on the project.
